“Under The Big Green Umbrella”

Stories keep sneaking into the manuscript, and I have not closed the cover yet! Just yesterday I heard a story told to my granddaughter, KC, by a young woman, about a horsefly that flew into her long curly red hair, while she was teaching aerobics to young children at the YMCA. As she swatted the horsefly, the children jumped right along with her, swatting above their heads too! The story grows as each of us shared a funny bug story, while eating ice cream Under The Big Green Umbrella! Only moments in time...and sharing giggles that we will remember. As KC stated: “I didn't know horses could fly!”

“Sam the One–Eyed Dog” and “Fluffy the Short–Haired Cat” are favorites of mine. “Our Garden Fairies Make Mud Pies” is one of KC's favorites!
